How to apply a discount tier for the B2B Portal


For the B2B Portal, it uses a Wholesale price tier that can be setup from the "Promotions & pricing tiers" menu (inside Sales).

To apply a further discount to show on the B2B Portal, the best way is to create and assign a time-controlled product promotion price tier.

  1. Create or setup a new product pricing tier, for example, call it "B2B Special Discount"
  2. Set the start and end dates for this discount to take effect
  3. Don't forget to limit this discount to the B2B business customers tags e.g. the B2B Access and Business tags
  4. Add products with a percentage discount

 

Once, it's setup, assign it to the B2B Portal setting:

  1. Go to Settings, then B2B Portal options (in the Sales section)
  2. Choose the discount tier name into the "Special products promotioanl pricing" dropdown box like below:

Click Save to save the settings

The system will push the discounted prices to the portal in its automatic schedule.
