Mailchimp integration

The Mailchimp integration works by means of sending customer company details from Qblue inventory to Mailchimp. The details include company name, email address and if enabled, tags. This is a one-way interface.

Note, the customers' contact persons will not be sent to Mailchimp.

Setup

These are the required settings:

  • API key
  • Unique audience list id
  • Send customers created on or after

Optional setting:

  • Send Tags?

Synchronisation

Currently, the synchronisation is triggered in two ways:

  1. Manual sync: by pressing the "Sync now" button from the Mailchimp integration's page
  2. Automatic daily sync

Here are the steps to obtain your Mailchimp API key (steps taken as at May 2021)

  1. Login to your Mailchimp account
  2. At the bottom of the left hand side, you should see your profile name, click on it
  3. Choose Account
  4. Click Extras and select API keys
  5. In the section "Your API keys", you can create a new key by clicking on the "Create A Key" button
  6. Optional, to make it easier to identify, you can set the label of the key to Qblue
  7. Copy the key
  8. And paste it onto the API key field above
