Conditions and triggers

In order for the orders to be sent to Go Sweet Spot, they must meet the following conditions:

  • The shipping method (chosen on the order) has the integration type set to Go Sweet Spot, e.g. NZ Couriers, Posthaste
See the Shipping methods setup for more information
  • When printing (or emailing) a packing list, a proforma invoice or a tax invoice, the order status will be set to Confirmed and sent to Go Sweet Spot automatically,
  • Manually triggered by pressing the "Upload details to Go Sweet Spot" button when editing the sales order
  • Automatic triggers:
    • When a new Shopify order is downloaded and the order's payment status is paid

Integration status

There are three ways to check the integration status, this helps to resolve issues for example, has the order sent to Go Sweet Spot?

  1. On the sales orders list, if the order has sent to Go Sweet Spot, the "Ship by" column should show in Green like this:

  2. When editing or viewing an order, the sent status will look like this:

Click on the link "view tracking" to view the track & trace messages as well as to see when the order was sent.

  3. On the "Invoices & credits" page, on the "Shipped by" column, when the order was sent and had a track & track URL link, the shipped by method becomes a blue link like this:

By clicking on the blue link, it takes you onto the tracking page on the shipping company's website.
