How do bin locations work?
What is the picking bin system in Qblue?
Qblue uses a default picking bin system, where each product SKU is assigned one unique bin location code per location.
Any type of bin code is accepted, so long as each code is unique within that location. You can name your codes to match your warehouse's physical layout or to match your existing labelling system.
Here are some examples of bin codes you could use:
- Aisle (A1)
- Row (R1)
- Shelf (S2)
- Slot (01)
Can bin locations show on packing lists?
Yes. To help warehouse staff easily locate items, bin locations can be printed on packing lists (non-priced versions).
To show bin locations on packing lists:
- Go to My account, then select Settings.
- Under the Sales section, click Options.
- Under the Shipping section, click the toggle labelled Show bin locations on packing list to turn the feature on/off.
- Press Save.
💡Tip: press Ctrl+F to quickly search for the setting.
How do I view or manage bin locations?

On this page, you can:
- View bin locations for a specific location/warehouse
- Create new bin locations
- Print bin location labels (size: 10x5cm)
