Custom product attributes

Custom product attributes are defined per product type, and up to ten custom attributes can be setup. The attributes are used as product filters on the products listing page on Qblue.

To configure the custom attributes

1. Go to Settings
2. In the Products section, click "Attributes"
3. Click on a product type from the right
4. Add the different attribute titles
5. Click Save
6. Repeat for other product types

Entering the attribute values

The attribute values can be entered against one product at a time, or they can be imported via the data import program.

Edit attributes for a product

1. Go to Products menu > Products/sku variations
2. Find and edit a product
3. Scroll to the bottom right-hand side of the page
4. Enter the attribute values
5. Click Save (or Save and close)

Import product attribute values

1. This step requires the products to be setup and imported beforehand
2. Go to Products menu > Export data
3. Choose "Product attributes" from the data type drop down box on the left
4. (Optional) Choose a product type
5. Click "Download"
6. Open and edit the values in the spreadsheet. Tip: keep a backup of this file just case
7. When ready, upload the file back onto Qblue by going to Products menu > Import data
