How do I reverse a location transfer?


To reverse a location transfer that's already been committed/posted:

  1. Go to Products. Select Inventory control, then Location transfers.
  2. Click History, then search for and click on the transfer to open it.
  3. Reverse the transfer:
    • Ensure the From and To locations are swapped, so that stock will move back to the original location.
    • Re-enter the same products and quantities used in the original transfer.
    • If the original transfer included shipping costs, enter the same amount but as a negative value.
  4. Once all items, quantities, and any negative shipping costs are correctly entered, commit the transfer.
