How to use Zeablue on a smart phone or mobile computer?
To access Zeablue on a mobile device, make sure you have an active Wi-Fi or cellular (4G/5G) connection.
Zeablue runs on a web browser, for example:
- On IOS (iPhone, iPads)
- Use Safari, or other browser (like Chrome) that is installed on the device
- On Android
- Use Chrome, or other browser (like Firefox) that is installed on the device
On the web browser, either open a new window or on the existing window, tap "Search or type web address" and enter the following URL:
app.zeablue.com
Login using your Zeablue username and password as per normal.
Scanning on mobile computers
Like Honeywell EDA52 / EDA51 / CK65, Zebra TC51 and others
On the mobile computer that is powered by Android, open Zeablue on Chrome, and enter the web address app.zeablue.com to get to Zeablue's login page.
For the best experience, configure the following on the device:
① Add the Zeablue website app as a shortcut on the home screen. To do this:
- Once the Zeablue login page is loaded on Chrome
- Click on the three dots icon found at the top right-hand side of the page
- Click "Add to Home Screen"
- Enter the shortcut icon name or use the default value, then click ADD
- A shortcut icon should be added onto the home screen. From there, double click on the icon should launch Zeablue on Chrome in the full screen mode.
② Configure the barcode scanner by adding a carriage return suffix character for every scan. To do that:
- On Zebra Android devices:
- On the home screen, click on the up arrow to show all apps
- Click "DataWedge"
- Click on a profile such as the default Profile0
- Scroll down to the "Keystroke Output" section
- Tap on "Basic data formatting"
- To enable automatic carriage return after each scan, check the box labeled "Send ENTER key"
- On Honeywell Android devices:
- Navigate to 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Intermec Settings'
- Under 'Intermec Settings', go to 'Data Collection' > 'Internal Scanner' > 'Symbology Options' > 'Postamble'
- In the box that appears, type \x0D (lowercase x, zero, capital D). This represents a Carriage Return (\r is equivalent to \x0D)
- Select 'File' > 'Save Settings'.
