How to enable different prices for each location
By design, each location has their own cost and selling prices. The following table explains the differences:
Product cost:

| Last buy price |
Once a purchase order has been received and costed, the system immediately records the last buy cost price for the purchase order location. This price can be changed and maintained by the user. |
| Unit cost price |
This is the product's overall weighted average cost, which is determined using the purchase orders that have been costed.
- This cost is maintained by the system.
- After a purchase order is receipted and costed, the system automatically re-calculates the total weighted average cost (based on the purchase price) and records the value onto this field.
- Use the cost adjustment program to modify/change this cost price.
- On the quote/sales order entry page, the GM % is calculated from this cost.
- Note, for new products with zero on hand and has no prior transactions, when the last buy price is changed, this gets updated at the same time.

Selling price:

The default selling price of the product.
- The company setting controls whether this price is GST/tax exclusive or inclusive.
- All price tiers and promotions that rely on percentage discounts will be calculated from this value.

| Full/RRP price |
Usually this is the same as the default selling price.
- This price is mostly used for display on websites.
- Aside from this, this price is not used by the system in any computations.

By default, the system updates to the same value for all locations when the selling price or the latest buy price is manually edited and changed.
Enable difference prices for each location
To do this:
- Go to Settings
- In the Products section, click "Other settings"
- Toggle on "Each location has its own sell prices" (bottom right)
- Re-login for this change to take effect immediately.
After this setting is enabled, when the selling price or last buy price is changed, it will be saved solely onto the selected (or current) location.
