Finalised order shipments
For the same order, it can be shipped from different locations. There are two different types of multi-location shipping:
- Standard order shipments
- Finalised order shipments
Standard order shipments
For each shipment:
- it results a new and separate invoice
- each invoice and their sales figures attribute to their shipment location
- they will be sent Xero, and if there is a separate Xero account for each location, the sales invoice and COGS will be sent to the respective Xero account
To do a split location shipment:
- perform the first shipment for the selected location, for example: Hamilton
- choose the products to be shipped and click "Commit delivery"
- an invoice will be created for the products shipped and for the Hamilton location
- after this, the order status will be set to Partfulfilled
- edit the order and change the location to another location for example: City Central
- perform another shipment for the remaining/selected products
- another invoice will be created, this one is for the City Central location
- if there are more products remain in the order, perform the same steps to ship the products out

To view the shipments for an order, click on the "Shipments" button at the top while viewing the fulfilled/partfulfilled order
Finalised order shipments
The steps to ship out a finalised order is the same as the above. The only difference is that the order is finalised before shipment.

- the first invoice is the complete invoice for the entire order which was done in Hamilton
- this invoice will be sent to Xero and the sales figures are attributed to Hamilton.
The 2nd & 3rd invoices start with FIN- are the shipments completed for the finalised order.
If the Xero settings for COGS is enabled, only their COGS will be sent to Xero.
