Migrating from another system onto Qblue and Xero

We have condensed the lengthy list of tasks that may need to be completed when switching or migrating from another system to Qblue and to Xero.

Data transfer tasks

Master Data:

•     To Xero and Qblue: import Customers and Suppliers
•     To Qblue: import Products and Stock on hand values
•     Products items are not required to be imported into Xero

Sales & Purchases:

•     To Qblue: import Outstanding Sales and Purchase orders
•     To Qblue: Import Sales and Purchase history (if required)
•     To Xero: import Customers and Suppliers open items, these are Unpaid Invoices and Bills

General Ledger:

•     To Xero: setup Chart of Accounts and import their Opening Balances (as of a cut-off date)
•     Export the GL Activity Transactions from the current system and kept on file. Later if required, check if it can be imported into Xero
•     To Xero: P&L and Balance Sheet totals should match between the current system and Xero
•     To Xero: import Fixed Asset items (with opening book and tax values)
