How to create new products

There are two ways to create new products:

1. Via data entry from the Products menu
2. Via data import from the Products menu then Import data

Quick products creation

Follow the steps below to quickly create a series of new products:

1. Go to Products menu
2. Click "Sku variations"
3. Click "New product"
4. Decide on the product type that the new product belongs to; choose from the existing list, or to create a new product type, click on the pencil icon next to the "Product type" label
5. Enter the product's description
6. Enter the product sku/code
7. Enter the default selling price
8. Enter the current buy price/cost of the product; if it is unknown, it is a kitset or BOM, then it can be entered as zero
9. When ready for the next product, click "Save & add new" at the top toolbar
   By doing this, it will save the new product and resets for another product. The product type and categories are retained for the new product.
