How does barcodes scanning work on Qblue
Qblue provides the ability to accept scanned barcodes in the following modules:
- Sales orders dispatch:
- To enable this setting, go to the sales options page, then toggle on "Enable scanning on dispatch queue" (try pressing Ctrl+F to find the text quickly)
- To ship out & invoice by using barcode scanning:
- Go to Sales menu > Dispatch queue
- Click to view an order
- Start scanning the products
- When a scanned product is not in the order, the system displays an alert
- Stock take:
- Go to Products menu > Stock take
- Click to create a new stock take or click on an existing
- Start scanning the products into the "Scan or search" field
- The scanned product will be added to the stock take count automatically
- Scanning a product barcode into a "SKU" field
- The system automatically finds the associated product SKU with the scanned barcode
- This works on pages have the SKU field on it including:
- Sales orders entry
- Purchase orders entry
- Stock take entry
- Products information
- Inventory adjustments
- Location transfers
